Snow showers expected later Tuesday

DETROIT – A wind chilly start once again, but no Wind Chill Warnings in the area.

Maybe, we're just getting too familiar with -10 to as low as -18 degrees, which is what we'll feel this morning. Highs will climb quickly to nearly 20° this afternoon as wind crank SW 15 to 25 mph.

Snow showers will be approaching this afternoon and will likely bring a dusting to a half inch around Metro Detroit later today.

Wednesday will be cold again as a cool front moves through and will slowly bring another arctic blast which will last until the start of the weekend.

Sunshine tomorrow but highs only in the mid teens.

Thursday and Friday could bring record low temps as air temps will be near zero to -5 degrees at times to end the work and school week.

Don't forget, we head into March next week when highs should be near 40 degrees.

It looks like we may get near 30 degrees on Sunday and Monday with a snow maker bringing a few inches of snow.
