Warmer temps Thursday afternoon in metro Detroit

DETROIT – The track of the rain and snow is along and south of I-94, so many of our friends north of I-696 and West of I-275 may get nothing.

Highs will eventually climb back into the mid 40s as the mid afternoon brings a mix of clouds and some sun with lighter winds today WSW 6-12 mph.

Friday morning will bring a good chance for a light dusting of snow again possibly effecting the morning drive. It won't be much (less than 1") and will struggle to stick to the streets but may stick on grassy surfaces.  Highs tomorrow will hang in the low and maybe mid 30s.

Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny, dry, and cold with lows in the 20s and highs in the 30s. We have another chance at a few rain and snow showers Sunday afternoon but we will be starting a nice warming trend.

That means 50s and maybe 60° next week!
