Cool temperatures linger Wednesday
Highs near 60
DETROIT – Another cool day ahead, starting out with clouds and a few areas of drizzle early Wednesday. Temps in the 40s as you head out will only warm to near 60 degrees this afternoon. We will see more and more sunshine working in as we head through the afternoon hours and winds will be much lighter today NNW 7-12 mph.
Thursday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs climbing into the mid and maybe upper 60s. Tomorrow should be a very nice day. Our next chance for wet weather comes Friday. Look for wet weather to start in the mid morning with scattered showers which will likely hang around through the mid afternoon to end the work and school week. Highs by Friday will be in low to maybe mid 70s with rain and thunder possible.
We have the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure in Detroit this Saturday and we will keep a close eye on the computer models and forecast. Right now, it looks iffy with rain and thundershowers moving into the area… hoping the wet weather holds off until the afternoon. Highs this weekend should be in the upper 70s with morning lows near 60-65 degrees. Scattered rain and thunder will be around Saturday afternoon and may linger into early Sunday.
