More storm chances Tuesday

DETROIT – Morning conditions are once again on the warm side with temps in the mid 60s to 70 degrees as you head out and about with a few areas of patchy fog.

Tuesday brings more rain and thunder chances throughout the morning and afternoon as we watch a slow moving cool front over Northern Michigan slowly sink towards Metro Detroit.

Highs will hit the low 80s with mostly cloudy skies and keep the umbrella handy for a few showers and storms and lighter breezes SW 5-12 mph.

Wednesday brings a better chance for more widespread showers and even a few strong to possibly severe storms.

Most of the active weather will hit Metro Detroit in the afternoon as highs climb into the low and mid 80s under mostly cloudy skies.

These showers with a stronger cold front will likely linger into early Thursday before clearing.

The weather late week looks great with sunshine and upper 70s Thursday and Friday.

An early look into the weekend looks dry with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

There's a chance for scattered rain and thundershowers late Sunday into early Monday.
