Heavy rain early this morning is making travel very tricky

Dryer weather moves in for Friday

DETROIT – Highs today will only hit the mid 70s with gusty winds SW 10-25 mph and a mix of sun and clouds.

Dryer weather moves in for Friday and cooler air is flowing into SE Michigan and Southern Ontario to end the week. We will wake up to temps in the 50s and patchy fog tomorrow and then sun and upper 70s by afternoon.

The weather looks great Friday through the weekend. After some much needed rain midweek, we will be dry with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s all weekend. There's a chance for scattered rain and thundershowers late, late Sunday into early Monday. But, no big storms are expected as the model data indicates now. Temps will cool off a bit next week.
