DETROIT – The sun will warm us quickly today as most of Metro Detroit will see afternoon highs in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies all day.
We get a little warmer each day this week and morning low won't be as cool. Waking in the mid 50s Tuesday and climbing to near the upper 70s to near 80 degrees tomorrow afternoon. Plenty of sunshine across SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario most of the week ahead. Wednesday and Thursday will be in the low 80s and Thursday will bring an end to the gorgeous stretch of weather.
Rain and thundershowers will blow in Friday afternoon, so we do have a shot at 80 degrees to end the work and school week before the storms roll in. Expect wet weather late Friday and the first half of Saturday. Weekend temps will drop into the 70s with more sun expected Sunday, but Saturday will by no means be a washout.
