DETROIT – It's another day for the sweatshirts, shades, and maybe shorts for the kids heading back to school.
Highs will hang in the low 70s this afternoon with plenty of sunshine and winds ENE 5-10 mph.
We have once again settled into a very quiet weather pattern and don't have much change this week.
That means we won't see much in the way of rain chances this week.
Highs tomorrow will warm a bit into the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies and winds shifting NE to SE 5-10 mph Tuesday.
So, we play the Groundhog Day scenario this week as each day looks just like the last.
The one difference is a slow warm up by Wednesday and Thursday. Most of SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario will slide into the upper 70s midweek holding there through Friday.
A dry cool front brings no rain, but it does cool us back into the low 70s this weekend. Because we all know the Michigan weather can chance in a heartbeat, get the FREE Local4Casters Weather and Storm Pins apps to stay ahead of any storms.
