Cool Friday with increasing clouds in metro Detroit

Highs near 60

DETROIT – Friday will be cooler again, struggling to see high temps reach the low 60s.

The clouds will be high, thin, and slowly increasing with pesky winds NE 10-20 mph and stronger gusts.

Saturday forecast:

Saturday looks cool and cloudy in the upper 50s with a chance for a few showers throughout the day. The rain tomorrow depends on the movement of Hurricane JOAQUIN in the Atlantic Ocean. Newer model data has this storm hanging out more over the ocean which would lessen our rain chances.

Still, expect a few showers tomorrow especially in the late afternoon. Those winds will be blowing hard again tomorrow too NE 10-25 mph.

More showers may move through on Sunday and early on Monday. With the falling temps and late week rain chances -- get the FREE Local4Casters Weather and Storm Pins apps to stay ahead of any storms.
