Expect plenty of rain Wednesday morning

Highs near 60

DETROIT – Rain is coming down all across Metro Detroit this morning with isolated thunder possible too. But the roads are very wet and the leaves are everywhere and the morning drive will be slow. Rain will keep going through 10 or 11 a.m. and then we get a brief break. Gusty winds start picking up later this morning and will be blustery this afternoon with scattered showers appearing again after lunch. Temps will get into the upper 50s to low 60s during the rain break midday and winds SSE 10-25 mph will gust 20-30 mph.

Cooler temps pour in Thursday with a few scattered showers and windy. Not the greatest of days either as highs stop in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Showers will be light but the wind WSW 20-30 mph may gust near 40 mph at times.

Friday looks dry with a cool start in the 30s to low 40s and highs back in the low to mid 50s. The latest computer model data suggests Saturday showers as we head into the Halloween Weekend. Saturday temps will be mild in the mid 50s falling into the 40s for Trick-or-Treating especially as the light showers get going. Timing is a bit uncertain but we are hoping it starts after 7 or 8pm.
