More gusty winds today; wind advisory in effect for some counties until 7 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Lenawee, Monroe, Washtenaw and Wayne counties until 7 p.m.

Skies are mostly cloudy to partly cloudy with a chance for a few St. Patrick’s Day showers. But, rain chances are light and spotty so don’t cancel your plans.

Highs today will only hit low to mid 50s cooling overnight down into the 30s by Friday morning.

A cooler Friday with highs only in the mid 40s. Some neighborhoods could climb to near 50 degrees south and cooler north due to winds NNW 5-15 mph.  The weekend looks cool but pleasant with sun Saturday in the upper 30s to low 40s. And, Sunday may bring a few morning showers, but it looks mostly dry.

Monday looks calm as we stay cool in the low 40s, but expect temps to start building and warming a bit Tuesday bringing a chance for light rain and/or snow.
