Cool start with few flurries possible
DETROIT – A cool start below freezing around Metro Detroit with a few flurries and sprinkles possible through sunrise Monday.
We will see the sun start to bust out this morning too and high temps will reach into the mid 40s today. It will be a mix of sun and clouds, dry conditions, and lighter winds NW 5-12 mph.
A warm up is on the way and although it will be brief, it will be nice Tuesday with highs into the mid and upper 50s.
It will get breezy again tomorrow with warming winds SW 10-20 mph with a few stronger gusts. And again, a slight chance for a little afternoon drizzle with only partly sunny skies.
Wednesday is moving day. We stay warm in the mid 50s, but rain is coming in which could hamper temps a bit. Models call for highs near 60 degrees midweek, which leads us to believe we will see some rain breaks midday allowing local temps to warm up again. But, do expect some light to moderate rain showers and still breezy.
