Tuesday begins cool, but hazy sunshine will bring temps to 60s
Temps warming up later
DETROIT – A good looking day coming your way Detroit! Temps are cooling early in the upper 30s to low 40s as you head out.
Patchy morning fog will lead to hazy sunshine and that will warm things up into the low and mid 60s this afternoon.
Warming winds shift early from NW to SW 5-10 mph allowing us all to try to warm up. Clouds will increase through the mid to late afternoon and shower chances are light, but possible after 7pm. These would be very scattered and light ahead of a cool front swinging through on Wednesday.
Wednesday is a different day with rain showers and isolated thundershowers moving in through the morning.
Keep the umbrella handy tomorrow as showers will come and go all day keeping temps on the cooler side starting in the upper 50s and falling due to rain and cloud cover. The winds will pick up too SW/NW 5-15 mph.
Get ready for a warm up Thursday into Friday when we could see 70 degrees by the end of the week and early weekend. Sunshine will bust out Thursday afternoon, Friday, and the first half of Saturday. Rain moves in Saturday night and early Mother’s Day.
