Cool start in the 40s, Spring sunshine and 60s later

DETROIT – We are chasing the rain out this morning hanging onto a few light showers near the Ohio Border and in parts of Southern Ontario.

Also, some patchy fog and mist through 6 or 7 am as lows dip into the low 40s. But, we have improving conditions for Cinco De Mayo.

We will see a nice mix of sunshine or, el sol, and a few waves of cloud cover. Temps today will bounce back into the mid 60s. Cooler breezes will pipe in N 5-15 mph keeping things cooler well north of Detroit.

We could easily see 70 degrees tomorrow making for a Fabulous Friday around SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario.  Sunshine to start your Friday and then only a few clouds coming and going staying mostly sunny most of the day.

Saturday starts out nice with highs getting into the upper 60s to low 70s, but rain moves in Saturday midday. This should be a swift moving line of rain and thundershowers just after lunch and may delay your outdoor plans a bit. But, don’t cancel your plans as the line of showers and storms will move out fast.

This wet weather will be gone by Mother’s Day bringing us glorious sunshine and 60s for our Moms.
