DETROIT –
Despite flooding rain earlier this week, still-needed showers and storms continue Saturday evening. It remains warm this weekend, but lower temps are on the way.

Saturday night will see the rain leave after midnight. It becomes cooler and less humid with the passage of a cold front. Overnight lows will be in the low and middle 60s.
Sunday will have some scattered showers early in the morning; near dawn. The day will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy, and there will be enough instability for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening. Highs will be in the middle 70s.
Residents can air their homes out Monday and Tuesday. The air will be much more refreshing with lower humidity. Skies will be mostly sunny, and highs will be in the middle 70s Monday and near 80 degrees Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday will be warmer. Skies will be mostly to partly sunny. The chance of rain reappears by Thursday.
