It’s a warm and muggy start with temps in the mid to upper 70s as you head out early on your Wednesday.

Highs will climb to near 90 degrees again and it will feel closer to 100° bringing heat related illness into play. Simple advise is lots of water and limited outdoor activities if you are able. A few isolated showers before sunrise are possible, but most of the wet weather is just out of our viewing area in West and Northern Michigan. Our rain and thundershower chances increase by early to mid afternoon. Look for scattered showers and storms with a small few producing gusty winds and dangerous lightning. Heavier rains likely later tonight and overnight.

Rain and thunder during the morning hours Thursday as a cool front is moving closer, moving through the area late in the day. So, we keep scattered showers around during the day tomorrow too with slightly cooler highs in the mid 80s. Cooler air starts pouring in late into early Friday.

Most of Friday looks cooler and dry with highs near 80 degrees and rain just off to our south. Looks like yet another chance for storms on Saturday with some bouts of heavy rain possible around SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario.
