Metro Detroit forecast: Fall weather arrives

Fall temperatures take over this weekend

DETROIT – A cold front rolled through Friday morning, taking the last reminders of summer with it.

We’re left with clouds that will remain through the night in most locations. In our North and West Zones, skies will clear before sunrise. That could allow some areas of fog to form in those locations overnight.

Lows will fall in a wide range between the upper 40s to near 60. Go to our 4ZONE page to see the temperatures breakdown.

We’ve got a dry and seasonal weekend ahead. Skies will be partly cloudy both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be mainly in the low 70s. Lows by Sunday morning will be in the 40s in most spots, while Metro Zone locations will barely hold on to 50 degrees.

Rain arrives on Monday with breezy conditions. Temperatures will take another step down early next week. Highs will be in the 60s area-wide Monday through Wednesday, but after skies dry up on Tuesday, we should stay dry with plenty of sunshine through the end of next weekend.
