Frost advisory in effect Monday morning in SE Michigan

Advisory in effect 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. for most of Metro Detroit

DETROIT – Sunday evening will be clear and cool with temps in the 50s.

Sunday night will be fair and chilly, again. Lows return to the 30s and 40s. Students will need to dress warmly for the bus stop early Monday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday. Sensitive plants may be killed if left uncovered. 

Monday afternoon will be mostly sunny and cool; highs near 65 degrees. Tuesday and Wednesday will be milder. Highs will be near or just above 70s. Wednesday night will have a chance of showers. Then, after a cold front passage, daytime lows retreat to the upper 50s and low 60s Thursday and Friday.
