Gusty winds to start your day and another warm one all around Metro Detroit.
Temps are near 70 degrees as you head out and those winds SW 15-30 mph may gust closer to 40 mph at times. A weak cold front will push through SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario this afternoon bringing a chance for a few spotty rain and thundershowers after 2pm. We don’t expect to see much in the way of rain, but showers developing could also bring more strong wind gusts mid afternoon. Highs will hit 80 degrees before the front moves through and then fall back through the 70s late afternoon and evening.
Wednesday will be the pick day of the week if you asked me. Morning lows are closer to 50 degrees and highs will warm up into the 70 degree range with much lighter winds. We expect plenty of sunshine mixed with some cloud cover tomorrow and very comfortable warmth through the afternoon.
Thursday will be wet for some, but likely not all of us as we watch a developing system to our south. This could bring a quick shower or two Wednesday night, but a better chance for showers moving south to north on Thursday morning and afternoon. Right now, computer models show those east of Route 23 have the best chance of getting wet as highs struggle in the upper 50s to low 60s. Cooler air arrives Friday through the weekend mainly in the 40s and 50s. The Fall Season brings constant changes so, make sure you have the Local4Casters app bringing the weather with you.
