DETROIT – A frost advisory has been issued until 8 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in the Detroit/Pontiac area.

Temperatures are expected to fall to between 32 and 37 degrees.

Inland areas away from Lake Huron might see more frost than other regions in Metro Detroit.

Exposed plants may be damaged, as well.

A frost advisory means meteorologists are expecting widespread frost.
