Metro Detroit weather forecast: Temps to reach near 70 again

Patchy fog and very mild temps to start your Wednesday… Happy Hump Day!

We will see cloudy skies most of the day with temps in the 50s to near 60 degrees as you head out early, and then highs near 70 through the afternoon. The one factor that will keep temps down here and there is scattered rain and isolated thundershowers moving across SE Lower Michigan both mid morning and mid afternoon. Scattered, light showers possible mid morning around Metro Detroit, with afternoon showers most likely in our North Zone. The heaviest rain will be more widespread and come late tonight and overnight into early Thursday.

Pockets of heavy rain will linger until 7 or 8am tomorrow with temps in the upper 50s to low 60s early.  As skies start to clear through the morning, temps will keep falling through the 50s with cooler breezes NW 7-17 mph.

Friday through the weekend will be sunny and dry, but cooler. We will see morning lows back down in the 30s and 40s and afternoon highs in the 50s to near 60 degrees Saturday.  As you know, the Fall Season brings constant changes so, make sure you have the Local4Casters app bringing the weather with you.
