DETROIT – After a near-record finish, we’ve got colder numbers on tap for the weekend.
Clear skies will continue Thursday night, as temperatures drop to the low 40s in most spots. Winds will relax a bit, dropping to 10-15 mph through the night.
We won't be nearly as mild on Friday. Temperatures will barely get to 50 degrees in the afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy in our North Zone and parts of our Metro Zone. More sunshine is expected elsewhere.
Saturday will bring the chilliest numbers of the forecast. We’ll start below freezing everywhere and rise only to the upper 40s in the afternoon.
Sunday, morning lows will be near freezing and rise to the low 50s for daytime highs. Both weekend days will be sun-filled.
Next week, we’ll be near or slightly above normal for the entire week, and we still have zero precipitation in the forecast through the start of next weekend.
