Metro Detroit weather: Normal temperatures fall

Temperatures drop to 30s by daybreak

DETROIT – Normal temperatures are falling into the 40s this week, but our forecast temperatures keep moving up.

High clouds will be on the increase Monday night with relaxing breezes. Temperatures will drop to the mid- and upper 30s by daybreak.

Even with a southerly wind Tuesday, temperatures should end up in the same spot. We'll start with plenty of clouds and see a bit more sunshine by afternoon. Highs will be in the mid- to upper 50s.

Temperatures in the 60s will return by Thursday, with mostly sunny skies.

Friday will be our warmest of the forecast with highs in the low and mid-60s. We’ll see clouds starting to increase late Friday, which will lead into a windy, wet and colder Saturday.

Highs to start the weekend will rise only to the upper 40s. The weekend will wrap up dry, but no warmer.

Next week will feel a lot different than this week. Check out the chillier numbers in the 10-day forecast.
