Metro Detroit weather forecast: Cool start in the 20s

A chilly start to the week with Monday morning temps in the mid 20s and a bit of a breeze making it feel like mid teens as you head out… bundle up! The cool air stays locked in place all day thanks to a steady cold breeze NW 7-17 mph as highs hit the mid to upper 30s feeling more like 20s all afternoon. Skies will start out with a few clouds and we expect plenty of sunshine through the day.

We will warm up a little bit Tuesday as the winds relax and skies remain dry. Morning lows again in the low and mid 20s, and then partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 40s. A few rain and snow showers will be on the way but not until after midnight.

A wintry mix early Wednesday morning becoming mostly rain most of the day with temps in the upper 30s to low 40s. Temps will start on the cool side in the upper 20s but slowly warm, even with the moisture moving through. Again, this should be mostly rain for those traveling in and out of Metro Detroit.

Thanksgiving may start with a few flakes and/or drips early Thursday, with improving conditions through your Thanksgiving Day as we see highs surging into the upper 40s. To stay ahead of the Fall swings and changes, make sure you have the Local4Casters app and take the weather with you.
