Metro Detroit weather forecast: Cool and dry Saturday with some rain Sunday

Heading to Noel Night in Detroit? It won't be a bad night to walk around outside

A cool start with the wind still blowing knocking the mid and upper 30s down into the upper 20s as you head out.

We are getting little bits of rain and snow still streaming from Lake Michigan, so a few roads are slick. Moisture is limited and will be all day as highs take off into the low 40s with Friday skies cloudy most of the day and winds will be in the breezy category W 10-17 mph gusting stronger at times.

The weekend will start cool and dry and then a good chance of rain by Sunday afternoon. Saturday stays cool and mostly cloudy without the stronger breezes all day. Highs tomorrow in the low 40s. There will be a rain moving in Sunday afternoon changing to a wintry mix Sunday evening due to struggling temps in the upper 30s most of the day falling late. Very little snow accumulation is expected.

We have another storm Tuesday which again will start as rain and switch to snow. That system will start to bring cooler winter temps toward the end of next week.
