Local 4Casters issue severe weather alert for Metro Detroit

DETROIT – The Local 4Casters issued a severe weather alert for southeast Michigan Friday afternoon and evening, as thunderstorms moved into the area and there's a chance for winds of up to 70 mph.

The National Weather Service issued several alerts today. Here's a look at all of them:

Wayne County

Severe thunderstorm warning: Issued around 3:20 p.m. and expired at 4:30 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm watch: Issued around 3:45 p.m. and in effect until 10 p.m.

Oakland County

Severe thunderstorm warning: Issued around 3:20 p.m. and expired at 4:30 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm watch: Issued around 3:45 p.m. and in effect until 10 p.m.

Macomb County

Severe thunderstorm warning: Issued around 3:20 p.m. and expired at 4:30 p.m.

Severe thunderstorm watch: Issued around 3:45 p.m. and in effect until 10 p.m.

Monroe County

Severe thunderstorm warning: Issued around 3:10 p.m. and expired at 3:45 p.m.
