DETROIT – A freeze warning has been issued for Monday night in 11 southeast Michigan counties.
Genesee, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne counties are under the freeze warning from midnight until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
From the National Weather Service:
Temperatures will drop at or below the freezing mark between midnight and sunrise Tuesday morning. Early season vegetation sensitive to cold may be damaged if left unprotected.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
