Highs in the low and mid 80s today in SE Michigan

DETROIT – Mostly cloudy to mostly sunny through the morning and into the afternoon and a bit breezy at times S 7-17 mph gusting over 20 mph.

Highs will hit the low and mid 80s as a warm front moves through SE Lower Michigan this morning and the added humidity will make it feel a few degrees warmer than your thermometer reads. Parts of our North Zone will stay cooler if that front stalls out north through the morning and afternoon.

Wednesday is another warm and muggy day and the warm winds will be blowing and gusting all day. A few morning clouds to mostly sunny skies all day and dry besides the moist feel of the humidity. Records the next few days are in the low 90s and we will likely not break into the 90s even though it will feel like it.

A few more clouds Thursday, but still warm with another day in the low to mid 80s. A few scattered rain and thundershowers will be around Thursday afternoon with brief downpours, but no all day soakers. A cold front Friday will drop temps into the mid 60s with partly cloudy skies.

The new weekend forecast data calls for scattered afternoon showers Saturday and soaking rain Sunday which could be coming and going all day. We will keep you posted, but you can always stay ahead of Spring showers and storms with our Local4Casters app.
