DETROIT – The first part of our week will be cool and cloud-filled, but is our first 90-degree day of the year waiting in the wings?
On Monday night, clouds will break up a bit. An isolated shower is possible, but most of the night will be dry. Lows will drop to the low and mid-50s.
A shower is possible again Tuesday, and there won't be much sunshine. Highs will hit the mid-60s, which is a dozen degrees below normal for early June.
There’s not much of a rain chance beyond that. Friday will be the only chance of a shower or thunderstorm, but it’s not a guarantee. Temperatures will steadily climb into the mid-70s by the end of the work week, then the mid-80s by the end of the weekend. We’ll get more sunshine along with those warmer temperatures.
Temperatures might hit 90 on Monday, which will be our warmest temperature of the year so far.
It looks like the pre-summer heat will stick around for a while. Check out our 10-day forecast for all the toasty numbers.
