DETROIT – After a string of unbelievably pleasant days, we'll get a bit more summer-like Thursday.
Look for mainly clear skies though Wednesday night. Seasonable temperatures continue with low humidity and light winds. We'll wake up to temperatures in the low 60s.
Thursday will remain dry. Expect a few additional afternoon clouds and a noticeably warmer finish. Highs will jump to the upper 80s across the interior of our area. Check out our 4ZONE forecast page to see where the mercury is headed for your neighborhood.
Also, humidity might get to a noticeable level, but nothing muggy.
By Thursday night, we might see a few scattered thunderstorms in our North Zone. The rest of us may get in on the action overnight. But anything that materializes will be widely scattered, with the majority of us staying dry. Humidity will continue to rise through the night and stay elevated through early Friday.
Friday looks like our best chance of rain for the entire forecast, but even that isn’t a slam dunk. Other than a possible thunderstorm just before sunrise, we may see some development in the afternoon. Highs will reach the low to mid-80s.
Then we reset to a very nice weekend (albeit still dry). Temperatures will be below normal, humidity will retreat and we’ll see plenty of sunshine. But there’s only one more rain chance beyond that in the 10-day forecast.
