Metro Detroit Weather: Saturday night fair, mild

Temperatures will be in low 60s

DETROIT – This weekend will definitely feel like summer with very warm conditions and plenty of sunshine in Detroit and Southeast Michigan.

Saturday night will be fair and mild. Temperatures will be in the low 60s under another starry night. Some patchy fog by dawn, Sunday.

Sunday will be another warm one by September standards. Temps should be back in the low 80s under mostly blue skies.

Late Sunday night, skies become cloudier ahead of a cold front. Temps in the low to mid 60s.

The cold front arrives Monday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible during the morning and midday hours. Highs will still be summer-like; in the upper 70s.

Tuesday and Wednesday will have sunnier skies. September warmth continues with highs near 80 degree or in the low 80s. Remaining warm during Rosh Hashanah, Wednesday; sunset at 7:35 p.m. ET.

Fall begins Friday at 4:02 p.m. ET with the autumnal equinox. Highs still in the low 80s.
