Metro Detroit weather: Sunny with highs in 60s this weekend

Chance of rain Friday evening

DETROIT – We've made it to the weekend and the 4 Live Radar is still tracking a few scattered showers in our North Zone. A few could be lingering through the early evening.

Then, we'll dry out and clear out. Winds will relax around sunset, too. Everyone is heading to the 40s for lows. Our 4ZONE Forecast page has the details.

Then, it's plenty of sunshine for both Saturday and Sunday. Winds will be lighter. Highs will reach the mid-60s.

Our first week in October will bring another significant warmup. Temperatures will be a dozen degrees above normal for this time of year, mainly in the mid- to upper 70s, and there won't be much rain around.

Midweek looks like our first chance for rain. Morning lows won't be quite as chilly, with starts generally in the 50s and even some 60s.
