DETROIT – We’re beating the odds again, but this time without the 90s and humidity.
Temperatures will keep heading upward. On Monday, we enjoyed highs in the mid-70s with plenty of sunshine, but we've got even warmer weather ahead.
On Monday night, skies will be mainly clear with light winds. Lows will be in the low 50s in our Metro and South Zones, with 40s elsewhere.
Plenty of sunshine will return Tuesday, which will be the warmest day of the forecast. Highs will reach the upper 70s with some West Zone spots hitting 80 degrees.
Rain will move in Wednesday. We might see some early showers, and afternoon chances of rain will be coming with thunder, too. No severe weather is expected, though. Highs should hit the mid-70s before the cold front arrives late in the day.
It won’t be our last shot at rain, though. Check out the other chances in our 10-day forecast.
