At 1100 a.m. EDT (1500 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Florence was located near latitude 42.6 north, longitude 71.9 west. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the east-northeast near 30 mph (41 km/h) and this motion is expected to increase as the low moves east into the western Atlantic later today.

Maximum sustained winds are near 25 mph (35 km/h) with higher gusts. The low will transition into a trough off the east coast tomorrow.
