DETROIT – We wil have bright and warm sunshine Tuesday through the early afternoon bringing highs into the low to mid 80s with winds WSW 5-10 mph.
We will see more clouds along with a spotty, light shower chance mainly from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today. Most of Metro Detroit won't see a drop, and those who do will see rain go as quickly as it came so don't cancel your plans. A weak disturbance moving through may also create a light shower or two overnight. It will be cooling into the upper 50s to low 60s.
A comfy night or early morning with mostly cloudy skies to start your Wednesday on the dry side. Clouds will gradually clear tomorrow from north to south and only a few rain drops fall near the Ohio border. Highs will stay in the upper 70s most of the afternoon with a few of us hitting 80°F with light winds NNE 5-10 mph.
Thursday will be brighter, but staying on the cooler side of average with morning temps in the 50s and highs struggling to hit 80°F but we should get there.
Friday will bring more sun and slightly warmer temps in the low 80s.
All of SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario will see a beauty of a weekend with warming temps into the mid 80s. Models show a few showers Sunday in our South Zone, so if clouds linger it may stay slightly cooler.
