4Warn Weather – After several rounds of winter weather came through Metro Detroit, here’s a look at this week’s snowfall chances.
Snow tapering down
Some light to moderate snow continues to fall Monday afternoon, but it should be winding down through the afternoon and evening.
A quick coating remains possible, but for the most part, we’re not anticipating much to add up.
Other snow chances this week
We aren’t expecting any major winter storms or significant snow chances this week, but a few snowflakes coud fall Thursday evening into Friday.
A few more flurries look to be possible on Sunday.
Cold most of this week
A couple blasts of cold are on tap this week. Lows Monday night will be in the single digits, but wind chills will be between -5 and -15 degrees.
This will be the same Wednesday morning.
A brief warmup comes during the middle part of the week, with highs close to normal, but by Friday and Saturday morning, we’re again looking at lows in the single digits.
This is not anticipated to be the coldest air of the season, as we hit zero on Dec. 23.
