Chilly, but dry Election Day

DETROIT - Election Day morning will be near or below freezing for voters.  People going to the polls will need to prepare with warm clothing in case they need to stand in lines in the cold.  The afternoon will be partly sunny and chilly with highs in the mid 40s.  Fortunately, it will be dry all day.

Tuesday night will have a chance of scattered showers with lows in the mid 30s.

Wednesday will be cloudy and chilly with showers possible and afternoon temps in the mid 40s again.  Thursday will be sunnier with highs in the upper 40s.

Milder weather returns Friday through Sunday with highs rising steadily.  Friday and Saturday daytime temps will go from the low 50s to the upper 50s.  Sunday will be near 60 degrees.
