Cold comes in with some snow

Scattered snow and lower temps Tuesday

DETROIT - Cold air returns to Detroit Tuesday with mostly cloudy skies and scattered snow.  The morning will have temps near or just below freezing in the low 30s and upper 20s.  Afternoon highs will be in the upper 30s.  Scattered snow will not accumulate much but create isolated slippery spots, especially on ramps, bridges, overpasses and sidewalks. A west wind will blow at 10 mph.

Tuesday night will be cold with lows near 25.

Wednesday will have a lower chance of snow Wednesday but will be colder.  Daytime temps will be in the middle 30s.

Thursday and Friday will be sunnier.  Highs will creep closer to average.  Upper 30s will exist Thursday.  Temps will be back into the low 40s Friday.
