Dense fog giving way to mostly sunny skies

Temperatures warming into the mid-80s

Dense fog is an issue for some of our northern counties this Thursday morning.

Here are all the details from our National Weather Service Office: fog advisory.

The fog may spread into parts of Metro Detroit as temps cool, the wind relaxes, and recent rain are the reasons. The rest of the morning looks great with temps starting in the 60s and warming into the mid or even upper 80s in some spots. We will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and simply a beautiful summer day.

Friday will be warm again in the middle 80s or warmer. There is a chance for a few showers and storms but most likely late after dinner. Those showers will linger into the overnight hours of early Saturday. The models now are hinting at a few scattered showers again Saturday afternoon with warm afternoon highs in the 80s.

Labor Day weekend brings a few scattered showers.  Track radar and the warm neighborhood temps on the new ClickOnDetroit app (it's free!) in your app store.
