Highs in the upper-80s

By Andrew Humphrey, CBM - Meteorologist And Station Scientist

DETROIT - Eclipse day, Monday, will be touch and go.

The solar eclipse starts just after 1 p.m. ET Monday, and peaks between 2:20 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. ET.

Remember your special eclipse glasses with the "ISO" label! It will be steamy and unstable with increased humidity.

So, skies will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy and hot with highs in the upper 80s. Showers are possible after 4 p.m. ET.
