Metro Detroit Weather: Black Friday shoppers bundle up!

Early morning temps in the 20s to low 30s

DETROIT –

Black Friday shoppers bundle up! We have temps in the 20s to low 30s as you head out with wind chills in the teens to low 20s. Mostly clear skies today bringing bright and breezy weather to Metro Detroit and good shot at hitting a high of 50 degrees today. Those winds will be picking up SSW 10-20 mph through the afternoon limiting the warmth from the sun just a bit. Clouds will start to increase later this evening leading into Small Business Saturday.

Saturday will start out mild in the low 40s with mostly cloudy skies most of the day. It’s a big day in Ann Arbor with Ohio State taking on Michigan at the Big House and the weather may play a part. Temps will be in the mid 40s with a chance for a few light rain showers. A cool front will be passing through in the early afternoon which will kick up the breezes and bring a few scattered showers. This does appear to be a mostly dry cool front so we do not expect much. Winds switch directions SW to NW 10-17 mph, again making it feel colder.

The sun comes out again on Sunday with morning lows below freezing and afternoon highs only slightly cooler than Saturday which should land most of us in the low and maybe mid 40s. Still a bit breezy Sunday and early Monday. But we have a shot at 50 degrees again on Monday and Tuesday with wet weather coming on Wednesday next week.
