Metro Detroit weather: Warm with fair skies Wednesday evening

Lows in the 60s

DETROIT – Feeling like summer, again, in Detroit and Southeast Michigan! Remaining warm Wednesday evening and the rest of the weak with barely a shower in sight.

Rosh Hashanah begins at sunset, which is at 7:34 p.m. ET, Wednesday. The afternoon and evening remain warm with temps near 80 and in the middle and upper 70s. Gorgeous daytime sunshine leads to fair skies by dinnertime and toward midnight.

Wednesday night will be partly to mostly clear. Overnight lows will be in the low and middle 60s. Some patchy fog will form by Thursday morning.

Drivers will need to be careful in spots with low visibility in Thursday morning. Sunrise is at 7:20am. Temps start in the 60s and quickly rise through the 70s by lunchtime. School can plan on outdoor recess for students.

Thursday afternoon will be mostly sunny and very warm. Highs will be in the middle 80s. Higher humidity will lead to an isolated shower here and there, but most cities in the region remain dry.

Friday is the first day of fall, but it still feels like summer. The autumnal equinox is at 4:02 p.m. ET. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

Saturday and Sunday look spectacular. Daytime temps will be in the middle 80s; nighttime lows in the 60s.
