Metro Detroit weather: Colder with light rain-snow mix Saturday night

Sunday drier, colder with scattered flurries

DETROIT – Foggy and soggy Saturday morning in Detroit with more rain on the way, then colder and breezier Saturday night and Sunday, with a few snowflakes.

Once a cold front moves through, it gets colder with a light rain-snow mix Saturday night. Little to no accumulation, but it remains very slippery. Overnight lows in the low 30s.

Sunday will be drier and colder with scattered flurries. Temps will be in the low and middle 30s all day.

Monday and Tuesday will be mostly sunny and not as chilly. Highs in the mid and upper 40s. Travel Day, Wednesday will be breezy and partly sunny. Highs will be in the upper 30s.

Thanksgiving, Thursday, will have sunshine, but it will be cold in the morning with temps in the 20s for America's Thanksgiving Parade spectators and volunteers. Daytime temps will be near 40 degrees outside the Lions game at Ford Field.
