Saturday forecast still doesn't feel like Spring

Sun will be out, but temperatures will be cool

By Brandon Roux - Meteorologist, Segment Reporter/Producer

There will be cool temps between 20 and 25 degrees around Metro Detroit as you head out first thing Saturday morning.

Compared to the last couple of weeks, Saturday will be quite nice with times of sun and clouds and highs near 40 degrees. Winds from the NW 5-10 mph will bring lake effect cloud cover from time to time. But, if we keep the skies clear through the afternoon we will see highs try to soar into the mid 40s.

Sunday will be a bit cooler with increasing clouds and NE winds blowing off the lakes keeping highs in the 35 to 40 degree range. We're watching a winter storm that could be a minor impact for us late Sunday and early Monday. Right now, most of the computer models have the center of the storm staying to our south which means heavy snow possible through Indiana and Ohio. But, if the storm pulls North a bit, we could see a couple of inches of snow by Monday morning. We'll let you know if the track of the storm changes.
