Severe storm threat ends Sunday

Cooler and drier with highs in the middle 80's

What was a complex of intense storms moving toward Detroit overnight simply brought some much needed rain without violent skies across much of Southeast Michigan.

Rain-cooled air has temperatures down a bit but we will stay in the upper 60s to low 70s Sunday morning.

Widely scattered storms will try to stick around through the morning hours. Then, the winds shift to the northwest and much cooler and drier air will settle in. Highs Sunday reach the middle 80s with breezy conditions, low humidity, and sunshine through the afternoon.
