DETROIT - The Detroit Area becomes soaked Tuesday morning with showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures will be in the 50s.  The rain is ahead of a cold front that brings lower temps for the afternoon.  Temperatures will fall into the 40s by the afternoon commute with clearer skies.

Tuesday night will be fair and colder with lows near 30.

Wednesday will feel more like December with highs in the upper 30s and partly sunny skies.  The rest of the week will be chillier with daytime highs between 40 and 45 degrees and nighttime lows in the 20s and low 30s.  Rain and snow showers are possible on Friday and this weekend.
