Meteorologist Paul Gross updates you on today's snow

DETROIT – We are still tracking and forecasting a tricky snow maker across SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario.

The one concern for snow lovers is a dry slot over NW Ohio which could limit snow totals for some.

Still, many forecast models (one posted below) keeping the Detroit area in the 3-7 inches range or a bit more snow possible.

The other concern is blowing snow with NE Winds 10-20 mph gusting around 30 mph. So, expect more light and moderate snow (blowing sideways) and blowing snow making travel really tricky through the evening and most of the night ahead. We are under a Winter Weather Advisory through early Thursday. If you don't have to go out, then stay in and enjoy the beautiful snow.
