Monday, Tuesday to see hotter than average weather

Relief to arrive Wednesday

DETROIT – Sunday evening will be warm and wonderful. Skies will be fair, and temperatures will be in the 80s.

In fact, hotter than average weather continues through the early part of this week. Many wish the pools will open back up again.

Sunday night is another mild to warm night. Under mostly clear skies and a little patchy fog forming, overnight lows will be in the 60s.

Monday will be hotter than average again.  As kids have outdoor recess and students partake in afterschool activities, the thermometer will rise to the middle and upper 80s.

Relief starts to creep in on Wednesday. A few showers are possible late in the day, and temperatures only make it to around 80°F.
