DETROIT - It will be a mild but cool morning with clear skies, and mid to upper 20s to start out your Saturday. Mostly sunny skies on tap for at least the first half of the day, followed by increasing clouds through the afternoon. It will be a very nice day with highs in the mid-40s and winds SE 5-13 mph.

Rain is on the way for Sunday and will likely start by mid-morning. So, expect scattered light rain on and off Sunday with stronger south winds, bringing in mild air that will bring highs near 50 degrees. Those south winds will be 10-20 mph and the area will likely only see between a tenth and a quarter inch of rain to end the weekend. It will not be an all-day soaker and it will start to look and feel like Spring. Don't get too used to it.

Monday brings a taste of winter back to SE Michigan with the passage of a cold front and much cooler air. In addition to being colder, we will likely see a few wet snowflakes.
