Wet start with temps in the 60s later

Showers are still moving in early this morning, but the bands of rain are getting lighter and lighter. Showers to areas of drizzle through 8 or 9am and then overcast skies for most of your midday. If we can squeeze out a little sunshine, temps may try to take off well into the 60s. Instead, cloudy skies and highs near 60 degrees is still an improvement with more shower chances later in the day. Late afternoon and evening showers will likely slow down the evening drive too but wrap up overnight.

After early morning showers end Friday, expect slightly cooler air to bring numbers back into the low and mid 50s with a nice mix of sun and clouds.  It should be decent weather for evening football games with temps sliding down into the upper 40s and dry conditions.

The weekend is looking more and more unsettled, but we start dry Saturday with sunshine in the morning. High clouds fill in through the day and showers will begin by late afternoon and into the evening. Highs Saturday will stay in the 50s but warm into the 60s Sunday. New model data suggests more shower chances Sunday which is a bummer as temps will be the warmest of the next week getting into the mid 60s to near 70 degrees between showers. More wet weather is moving in Monday. Track sky conditions and our next rain chances with our Local4Casters app.
