Wonderful weekend continues in Metro Detroit

Mostly sunny skies Saturday

DETROIT - This is the spectacular summer weekend that we've all been waiting for!  It doesn't matter if you're heading to the Dream Cruise, if you're participating in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day, heading to the Tiger games, spending Sunday at the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway, or just hanging out and hitting one of the local festivals, the weather couldn't be better.

Expect mostly sunny skies and comfortable humidity today, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80°, although a light east wind may keep those of you near the big lakes just a tad cooler.  Clear and comfortable tonight, with lows near 60.  Then we'll do it all over again tomorrow, with mostly sunny skies and highs just nudging into the low 80s.  Our streak of sunny weather should continue all the way through Thursday, with temperatures warming a degree or two each day…reaching the upper 80s by Thursday.  Our next chance for rain is Friday, as a cold front comes through.
